Brazil has a dedicated Federal Police unit against illegal betting
The unit handles illegal betting and match-fixing; together with regulators, sites and payment channels are being blocked. Law enforcement and officials say they will pursue owners of offshore projects working with Brazilian traffic through international cooperation, including Interpol. No specific cases against offshore operators have been named yet.
