Spain introduces a single player deposit limit across all licensed operators
Royal Decree 520/2026 (published in the BOE on 25 June) adds joint deposit limits to the online gaming rules: a player's deposits are counted across all their accounts with Spanish-licensed operators, including sportsbooks, and the system is run by the regulator DGOJ. According to an industry channel, on 21 October DGOJ presented the system and a new Player Portal — a single account view with bets, deposits and playing time across all licensed sites. We have not yet found the mandatory start date for operators in official documents.
