Brand fakes move to Telegram: scammers earn at least RUB 1.1bn a month

According to an industry channel, F6 estimates that scammers faking Russian brand websites earn at least RUB 1.1bn a month. Phishing mostly imitates retail, scams imitate social networks and messengers. Security experts say a scam domain now lives 4–12 hours, so schemes are moving to Telegram — fake channels, bots and mini apps.
