Russia to ban direct P2P crypto trades from 1 July 2027

Transactions will go through licensed platforms, and transfers to personal cold wallets will be banned. The financial monitoring service will get data via the SBP system and Mir cards. A registry of suspicious addresses and up to 48-hour checks on large transfers are under discussion.
