South Korean police bust an illegal online gambling network with $17.3B in bets

From March 2023 to July 2026 the group built 188 iGaming sites for operators and earned about $113 million. Cases against 77 suspects went to prosecutors; 21 are in custody. 118 sites and 408 domains were blocked and about $7.2 million frozen.
